Help me downsize but still be prepared for haswell-e..

So we just bought a new house and I get to furnish a new office. Ironically I'll have quite a bit more space there than I have here but I'd actually like to downsize. This mountain mods case is simply a monster.

I'm looking to go to the smallest case that could accommodate enough rad for an overclocked 5960x and 2-3 (most likely 3) gtx 880s. I will rebuild with this new case/loop with my current hardware (980x/2xtitans) in the next few weeks and then rebuild again near the end of the year for haswell-e.

Any ideas? Caselabs seems to be high on the list these days?

Thanks!

What is your budget? It is also very difficult to say how much rad space will be required for components of unknown TDP.

I have no budget. It seems reasonable to guess at 250watt at least per 880 and at least 250 for an overclocked 5960x, no way to know for sure obviously.

Look at the new Caselabs S8- it just launched at a pretty great price for what you are getting. I imagine you would need 2x 360mm rads at the minimum if you intend on overclocking that setup and you can always buy a pedestal for more radiator space.

I've looked at the s8, because of the rad space this seems like the most likely candidate. What I will do is like tape some cardboard together in the dimensions of the s8 and put it next to my ascension and see what the size difference really is.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Good luck! I have seen the Ascension in person and it is a beast.
