Using HD555, looking for sound card

Thread Starter
I've been using my HD555 with my motherboard's onboard audio (Realtek ALC888S), but I'm getting tired of it and I'd like to get a separate sound card, or anything that could help me get better quality audio.

I listen to lossless audio rips of mostly instrumental music. I also plan on using the headphones when watching HD movies on my computer. I'm hoping to spend less than $100, if possible.

I did a little searching, and I browsed the forum here too. Most people seem to recommend the Asus Xonar series, and in this recent thread I was reading someone mentions replacing the amp on a Xonar DSX to get even better audio quality. My headphones are different from that OP's, so I was wondering if anyone had better suggestions.

Just bought and Creative Z card and new 558's and it sounds good ...... Plenty of juice for me.
