Need a bit of help for my first loop :)

Hey, im sort of new to watercooling, so I have a couple of questions. I want to make a loop with my 4670k and 7970. I am getting the NZXT h440, and have made a list of the things I think I need for my loop:

Ek x3 Res 250

EK Supremacy Universal CPU Liquid Cooling Block - Acetal (EK-Supremacy - Acetal)

http://koolance.com/vid-ar797-video-card-vga-amd-radeon-hd-7970-water-block 7970 block (bought)

PrimoChill PrimoFlex Advanced LRT Tubing 3/8"ID x 5/8" OD - 10ft Retail Pack - Clear (PFLEXA10-58)

EK G1/4 Thread Perfect Seal Compression Fitting - 10mm ID x 16mm OD (3/8" x 5/8")

Swiftech pump mcp35x

360 rad

So a couple of my questions are:

Can I mix the metals in my loop? Like I have nickel block and a acetal cpu block. Will that cause anything bad tongue.gif?

And another question:

How many fittings do I need to buy? I know I need 2 for the rad, 2 for cpu, 2 for gpu, 2 for res, do I need any for pump?

And do I need to buy any 90 degree or 45 degree things? Ive seen other who had them but don’t really get why they use them. And if you were me would you use them tongue.gif?

Thanks a lot OCN!

Acetal is the black plastic on the top of the block. The base of it is either copper or nickel plated copper, depending on which one you buy. Use a corrosion inhibitor in your coolant.

Yes, you will need fittings for the pump.

Thanks for the response! +rep

Also, if I use the parts I listed for the CPU bloc and the 7970i would be ok as long as I have corrosion inhibitor?

Also do you think I need 45 or 90 degree fittings?

Thanks again

Corrosion inhibitor always good idea. 1 or 2 90s are also usually a good idea on a first build.
