i'm not sure whether is it worth to change from A540 to this, but i'm changing from carbide 400R to this i think it's totally worth it. i need to mod hard to fit in 360 and 240 into carbide 400R but this one seems nice. i can shift my system without doing any mod

I recently did a build in a 750D Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
(as well as a hadron air and C70). I'd say for certain that the doors are "flimsy". it's not to the level of those $40 thermaltake chassis that bend when they fall on a carpet from 6 inches above (not an exaggeration, been through what feels like hundreds of those lol) but feels noticeably thinner than the panel on the C70 and 500R. the larger size and giant window don't help the feeling of sturdiness either and it makes a lot of noise when you hold the steel part and wobble it a bit. IMO it's nothing to be concerned about.

Im glad I found this thread and discovered the 450D. I just ordered directly from corsair I got tired of waiting for the h440 plus the 450D is a looker. I'm looking forward to my build with this. I hope I get it before my spring break is over.

If destiny = crummy version and less attractive model of corsair 450d then you are correct smile.gif

That's not nice man. There's nothing crummy about the H440. Though I must say I was about to buy the 450D because I was so pissed off about waiting and getting robbed of all the stock within 12h of coming back in stock. Then NCIX killed my 450D prospects by lying to all its customers by saying that the 450D would be available immediately when it was just another one of NCIX's month-long, stupid-ass preorders.

I'm excited to see all you guys' build logs; can't wait to see the 3 AF fans work wonders on this midtower beast!

It looks perfect for an epic gaming rig that can still handle some minor video editing! I am building almost the exact same thing except with a custom loop in a 350d (space is an issue). Keep us updated on how it comes 😀
