or do i have to do some other steps to make sure i dont have technical difficulties?
(like Im pretty sure if you were to remove your HDD and put in another one w/o doing anything, you would have some sort of technical problems)

just unplug tne old fans, unscrew them, the reverse on the new ones. screw in, plug in gg.

And make sure you have them facing the right way tongue.gif

There's an arrow on at least one of the sides that tells you which way the air flows just in case you can't tell just by looking at them.

just picked them up.
However he said it was corsair 120 mm 3pin.
Aren't these 4 pins though?
Also I still don't get what the differences are.

The all black one is a 3 pin

2 pin fans just spin thats it
3pin tell you how fast they spin
4 pin lets you tell them how fast to spin (that is as long as it can spin as fast as you want it to spin)

how would i do that exactly?

There are some programs out there that let you do that, your mobo maker if the mobo has 4 pin connectors on it may make a program to controller fan speed. Or you could buy a fan controller which is a device that sits in a 5.25 bay and lets you turn the fan speed up and down by hand.

I have a problem now lol.(NOTE: The build is failry new, and doesnt have an OS atm, so im only able to go to BIOS)

So, to test if these 2 gray fans were working, i removed my 2 case fan pins from their system header and i placed the 2 gray ones in.
When i boot up my pc, it the fans spin and everything, but my monitor doesnt get a signal.
and as soon as i remove these 2 fans and put on my case fans, i can go to bios again.

whats the issue?

also, one of my system header is a 3 pin, what happens if i put a 4 pin into it?

I normally don't just post links, but that is a very good guide.

I would assume you had no screen on your monitor because you did not have your cpu cooler fan plugged into the cpu fan slot.
