Need help on which graphics card

I built my computer almost 1.5 years ago on a very tight budget, now I am wanting a bit more bang out of my graphics. The only game I play is world of Tanks.

WOT system requirements. xfire does not work for WOT
http://worldoftanks.com/en/content/guide/general/system-requirements/

After a long day of work, I do take my contacts out, and no longer have the eyes of a 21 year old, so I play on 1440x900, plus my FPS take a nose dive if I have it set higher.
I want to play on higher settings, does not have to be max, but still would like to get my FPS close to 60, not my current 35.
I am only looking for a graphics card, not a new cpu, as have read that I will see very little bottlenecking even with a 660 ti, which i am looking at. So below is a list of a few cards I am currently looking at.
ASUS GTX 660 Ti-not sure if I need something this powerful. The price is high, and from reading about the card, it is worth every penny.

ASUS HD7770-is this too underpowered for what I am wanting?

GeForce GTX 660-It is right in the middle price and performance wise......
Galaxy GeForce GTX 660 Ti-Is galaxy too off brand to trust?

XFX AMD Radeon HD 7850-860MHz too slow?

That is where i got some ideas for different cards.
Are there certain manufacturers I should definitely stay away from?

Any suggestion would definitely be much appreciated. And thanks for taking the time to help, much appreciated.

Only brand i would stay away from is Galaxy for the reasons listed Here

In your price range i would personally look at the new 750Ti or 660 if you want Nvidia, or the 265X / 270 If you want AMD. It all comes down to how much you are willing to spend.

That there is the whole point. Will the $140 card yield what one for $230 for what I need?

Read through this article. http://www.pcper.com/reviews/Graphics-Cards/Upgrade-Story-Can-GTX-750-Ti-Convert-OEMs-PCs-Gaming-PCs

Since you are running a 5800K i would look at the Asus system for reference. Its 6700 Performs very similarly to what you have. This can help give you an idea of the performance increase going to the 750TI would give you. From there you can reference other benchmarks to see how much more you would gain from the more expensive models. At your resolution and only playing WOT, any of these cars are going to give you a nice increase.

First post said he plays on 1440x900, Techspot just put out a review of some video cards in F2P games. Here are the WOT benchmarks.

Simple answer is no. Not one generation removed. The 750ti is a good card but it is not a 660ti. I would go the route of the 660ti personally. With that resolution you should have no problem with higher settings.

If you dont use more than 8xMsAA i would go with the 660ti otherwise get a hd 7870

Had never seen benchmarks for WOT, and yes, its the only game I currently play, well til they come out with World of Battleships, that is. Guessing it will also run on same platform that WOt does. For those of you who do not know WOT, it is a MMO tank game. The biggest issue with this awesome game is it is produced in Russia, and has a huge player base there. Most Russians do not have good computers to play, so they really are in no hurry to get multi core support and the like.
Currently I do not run the FXAA.

:"World of Tanks is surprisingly demanding at 1680x1050 even if we know the game has recently received some pretty major visual upgrades. We found it interesting how the Radeon R9 290 only beat the R9 280X by a few fps, the R9 280X was just a few frames faster than the R9 270, and how the R7 260X wasn't able to deliver playable performance.

Nvidia cards appeared to deliver more consistent performance with the GTX 750 Ti averaging a healthy 55fps, while the GTX 760 smoked the AMD equivalent with 88fps and the GTX 780 exceeded 100fps by a wide margin."-From the great benchmark post provided by oblivious.
It is quite obvious, pardon the pun, but i do not need a card as powerful as the 780, 760 or 660Ti. as they get FPS way above 60.

so guess after seeing those benchmarks and comments here, I am going to look for something around 750Ti-GTX660.
Guess oen big question, are there certain manufacturers I should definitely stay away from?
