Which radiators should I choose?

Hi Guys,

I'm in a dilemma here. I have a TJ07 and I'm going to do a roof mod. For this I can pick the SR-1 360 or I can choose for the Nexxxos XT45 360. What would be better the Nexxxos in pull with corsair SP120 high performace fans or the SR-1 360 in pull with corsair SP120 high performance fans.
I will also be placing an 480 in the bottom. Would I better be off with a EK XTX480 pull SP120 or Nexxxos UT60 pull SP120?

I love Black Ice and EK... but I think I would go for the Alphacools all around, especially if you are going to go with just Pull. Push is much more efficient than Pull (and usually possible if you can just switch the locations around)... and obviously Push / Pull is better yet.

I think the FPI on the Alpha's will give you better cooling with a pull configuration, than even the SR-1. The EK is really close.. but I would just go with one brand if possible.. and the Alpha's are great rads!

Check out this article on the NexXxos UT60 360..... http://martinsliquidlab.org/2012/04/12/alphacool-nexxxos-ut60-360-radiator/

I hope you know that the SP120 HP's are a bit loud when run wide open... they do move a lot of air, and have great static pressure... but they are loud.

Ah oke thanks for the info! I don't have enough room for push/pull unfortunately..

I believe the SR-1 has a lower FPI like cgipson said. So it really depends on how hard you want to run your fans as to the performance gain. Even then it's minimal at best. Most radiators in the sub 2000 RPM range only differ by like 20-40 watts so I would go with whatever is cheaper / looks better/ fits better in your case. And if you can get a push/pull setup with one over the other that would be best because you'll see about 20% temp drops which is more than what one radiator vs another could get you.

Ordered myself a Alphacool ut60 480 and a st30 360.
