Hey guys,

I'm looking to buy a new mouse for gaming, i'm a palmgrip player and im looking for the perfect mouse.
I know most of it is preference but maybe you guys can give me some suggestions.

Here is some information about me:

- Palmgrip player
- Low dpi
- Big hand (Long fingers)
- Playin Counterstrike - Global Offensive

I hope you guys can help me.

Long fingers, you say. Probably SteelSeries Rival, but the Mionix Naos 7000 might also suit you well. Their Avior 7000 works for palm grips, but the Rival might work the best for you since it is a long mouse.

I bought both the 2013 Deathadder and SS Rival and rival hands down a better mouse for both performance and comfort, returned the 2013 DA. This is coming from someone who has been using the 3.5G Deathadder!

I also found the Rival to me more comfortable than the DA. I didn't think that was possible, but it really fits like a glove.

Personally, I'd go with either the Rival or the Zowie EVO. The rival has a "New kid on the block" sensor and is being very well regarded. It's the biggest of the group and more suited to a full palm grip. It has decent side buttons and a nice crisp click on the mains. The cord is also pretty decent. It has the normal options through the Steelseries Engine. I, personlly, don't install mouse software but that's just me. There have been some quality control issues with the mouse. That's kinda par for the course with Steelseries these days. I haven't had any issues, but there are a couple people reporting bad devices in the Rival thread.

I have a soft spot in my heart for Zowie mice. The shapes are all home runs to me. I own at least one of each, and different finishes of several. The sensor is incredible in my opinion. It's the last generation darling(Avago 3090). It does have some odd DPI steps, but I find 1150DPI to be just fine as an 800/900 DPI user. Outside of the unusual DPI steps the negatives are the customer service. It's a small company and you aren't going to be wined and dined by the customer service team. Just plain and simple. They'll work with you, but you have to use some finesse. Also, it has an incredibly low LOD, so that may cause issues with certain mouse pads. I find a full black mat like the QCK or any Artisan pad, or a Red pad, both with no graphics work the best.

Same here, I actually found the 2013 DA to be worse the the 3.5G with those stupid grips they added

Go for whichever shape/surface you prefer most all are solid mice.

The stock feet do suck but you might be feeling the DA design flaw where the bottom of the mouse makes contact with the pad and drags. Double stacking mouse feet fixes that.
