[GamingBolt] GTA 5 Appears for PS4, Xbox One and PC on Retail Sites - Page 4

One of the main reasons I moved my ps3 from my living room to my desk with my monitor is because my living room viewing distance was about 11 feet. That's just too much, especially for a 42" tv.

It would be silly for Rockstar not to bring it to XB1 and PS4 since that would require minimal effort to port the PC version to them and it's not like it's going to cannibalize PS3/Xbox360 sales - it's been out long enough on those platforms that most people who are interested in it have already purchased it.

I have mixed feelings about 5, some of the things that made 4 awesome were missing from V, burgershot, clucken bell, the ability to leave your car running or turn it off selectively if you needed to make a quick getaway, lack of interiors and so on, not to mention the things missing which made San Andreas amazing.
I found IV's story to be pretty real, gritty and serious somewhat, I suppose that's the whole feel of GTA IV which i liked an enjoyed, but GTA V somewhat brings the series back to its roots and makes it more interesting and diverse with a selection of three protagonists and a large open world, I loved the driving in IV, you could kinda feel every turn and bump on the road and pavements, I dont mind 5's however, I think they redesigned the driving for 5 because 4's driving may have been too realistic for 5 as it kind of goes back to the roots of GTA and you can drive pretty fast and still be able to control your car with minimal effort in in V, you do that in GTA IV prepare to windshield cannon into another car as the game world to me is more confined compared to GTA V which feels vastly more open, both titles have their pros and cons to me, but It's hard to decide whats the better GTA when you have to include the original San Andreas into the mix which has a ton of content which GTA V is missing imo, I feel they went backwards with IV, and further forward but however still didn't push through fully with GTA V.

Imo V is better than the previous one, San Andreas? eh it's missing content.

Agreed on all counts.

My personal experience 46" TV kinda smallish at 5-6' distance, still saw all the aliasing on the xbox 360 GTA V.

I always think it's funny when people that have 15 ft. between them and their TV thinks 55" is too big.

If your HDTV is going in a living room with limited space, THX recommends the following:

35 inch class TV = 3.5-5 feet away
40 inch class TV = 4-6 feet away
50 inch class TV = 5-7.5 feet away
60 inch class TV = 6-9 feet way
It might seem that THX is recommending a very large screen size for your room. But, it’s important to note two things: 1) THX screen size recommendations are based on recreating an immersive cinematic experience, and 2) the biggest complaint among TV buyers is that they wish they had bought a bigger set.

i didn't but, i looked and and you can use paypal. so if it's a scam you can get your money back by opening a dispute.

PayPal gives you 45 days to open a dispute so that won't work as the rumored release date is more than 45 days.

Rockstar double-dipping again.... only for those with no patience to wait for the PC version.

But seriously, other games come with PC versions on same day as consoles, I don't see why Rockstar just do so.

The day this game comes out on PC, is the day I actually beat it. I have it on Xbox but trying to play it like a few others have said, is a bit of task with how crappy it looks.

A PC version WILL arrive. It always did. It's only a matter of when???

At this point, we can expect an announcement at anytime now, being 5-6 months after console release....
