I play a lot of indie games and generaly i encounter a lot of badly scripted engines. But the games and the idea's are so awsome.

So in the best case scenario im running a well optimized indie game that proble doesnt use more then 2 cores biggrin.gif

If i need more cores i can unlock my cpu to a x6 and can run it stable without Overclock.
I can overclock as x4 til about 3,6Ghz

Not that much but im reaching a heat limit after 3,6 tongue.gif

As i mentioned this is my first built PC and ofcourse i learn more things and figure i wish i built my pc slightly different =) One of those components is the MB
But im also starting to look into intels direction.

Extra cores might be nice for recording video's and editing them (on amateur level )
Also something i didnt built my pc for at first. But i changed i started doing that aswell.

Its just a shame to have such a lovely CPU and not being able to get more out of it mad.gif
I think that is the main reason im itching to buy a new motherboard.

Maybe you are spelling heatsink wrong?

I think you might want to invest a little in a better cooling solution as well. I would go that route before getting a new board. Yours may have some life in it yet.

Yeah heatsink.
Sorry im not the best in english certainly not when explaining things biggrin.gif

But thanks for the advice guys!

Getting into better cooling might be a nice idea.
il start browsing the forums for info about that.

Or if u got some recommendations for me to start looking at il be happy with that thumb.gif

Its not hard to figure out which coolers are the best.

investing in a performance cooler is as hard as forking over a hefty amount of cash.

If you want to stay AIR, There are a few good coolers like the phanteks dual tower, nh-D14 and so forth.

there are also all in one coolers, water cooling kits, and full blown cost unlimited water cooling.

For your case, I cant really recommend anything bigger than a H80i, or antec kuhler 920. something along those lines.

Custom waterloops are very expensive but if you like the look and have the room a custom loop kit aren't super expensive just to cool the cpu

if i would purchase any of those watercooler.
Im thinking more, maybe i should upgrade to an i5 :/
And get the fatality board with it, and overclock that one =)

But i found out this game i realy enjoy is only using GPU power, even if u have 2 or more it wil only use 1 GPU and hardy make your Ram or CPU push its limit.
So if i would upgrade my CPu on that behalf it would not help at all.

Im totaly not up to date on the market of Videocards. Im currently running 1x ATI Radeon 6870 XFX dual fan.

I bought it 2 or almost 3 years ago now =)

Keep what you have, wait until your game is REALLY unplayable.

Then blow tons of money and max your credit cards. biggrin.gif'

edit: to probably play the same game. . . .

Yeah blowing money isnt easy ^^

If i wanted that i wouldve just bought everythink that comes up in my head rolleyes.gif

Also getting a better cooler , would also be waisting money sinds the chip just runs hot, the next one wil be the mosfets running too hot.
And after the memory wil proble show its limits..

Maybe i should just play better optimized games tongue.gif

(But most Triple A titles are so lame..)
