-The HDMI pass-through is actually pretty handy. Even if you don't have cable, you can use it for other HDMI devices without having to change your input on your TV.

-XBL Gold isn't any more expensive than PS+ is. Xbox video services were all on the Xbox 360 as well and no one complained about them, they just simply didn't spend $5 to rent a movie.
psn is $49 xbl is $59.

There is a difference.

Officially XBL Gold is $10 more expensive per year than PS+. ($59.99 vs $49.99). I know, not a huge factior although (IMO), an Xbox without a XBL subscription is far more restricted than a PS without a PS+ subscription.

My cousin has the xbone, and now watching TV involves the xbox controller in one hand and the TV remote in the other. I guess you don't have to use the feature, but then you can't impress your friends by yelling "xbox watch tv"

PS+ has had free games for over a year, too. Anyone who subscribed over a year ago could have a fair few games right now. That's for PS3, 4 and Vita.

XBL? Supposedly superior friends chat, laden with ads.

There is a difference.

Xbox Live Gold $39.99

PS+ was also $39.99 a couple of days go. So, again, no difference.

You have to say "Xbox Watch TV" once, you don't have to touch the Xbox controller at all.

This times 1,000,000. Without Gold, you can't even use your internet related services. I mentioned this earlier, but you're basically just paying Microsoft to access your own internet. It's retarded. And being geared more towards media like XB1 is... that really makes it a flop in my eyes.

Not to mention how fragile the dualshock controllers were. Me and my friend probably went through one a month which was doable when they were only $20 on PS2, but not at $60. Xbox 360 controllers usually last me a year until they get dropped on my concrete floor and make a hard landing..

Ummm wat? I have 3 Dualshock 2 controllers that have 10 years on them and they work perfectly and I have 2 Dualshock 3 controllers that through HEAVY abuse have lasted 6 years. How are you breaking them? My brother throws them at the wall when he get's mad and they are still perfect. The xbox controller feels cheap imo just something about it screams low quality to me.

It's like arguing which is faster, a 2001 Camaro z/28 or a 2001 Mustang GT, both are so slow compared to cars nowadays they will get walked by a V6 Camry, so just buy the one you like.

you missed the point almost entirely. The as time goes on and they learn to squeeze ever ounce of power out of them the PS4 is gonna make the xbone look like a fisher price toy.
