Need help choosing which 290x to waterblock -- Have 3 to choose from

Thread Starter
Basically, what is the best way to bin a chip for water, go purely by gpu-z asic score ( it says lower is better for oc on water) or just try to see how high I can overclock each one on air?

I know for a fact my oc is the same on air/water with my current blocked 290x.

I have three other 290x here to choose from and i'm waterblocking a second one today and finishing my watercool rebuild

I would say go for whichever you can clock the highest on air then block that card. You can usually raise the voltage even more when its on water which should allow for some more OC headroom
