LOL, you can clearly see the harness the actors are wearing if you look at their shoulders. tongue.gif

That's some pretty bad CGI, scale and lighting is so off in many shots. Also do really you expect a real hoverboard to look exactly like a prop used in a movie? rolleyes.gif

I like how it defies physics by hovering sideways, yo!

I would believe it... IF it wasn't hot pink.

I don't know the proper terms when it comes to rendering and creating CGI and whatnot, but I know you need a highly contrasting object or background as a starting point for any effects to be used.

I'm hopeful that I'm wrong on this...

I'm going with the theory behind it being Tony's way to promote his game. Maybe it's got hoverboards? rolleyes.gif

I so want it to be true though. That would be awesome. thumb.gif

They are clearly being lifted into the air by a harness clumsy hidden under the bulky clothing they are wearing while 'hovering' but not while being interviewed. They got some big names to participate, too bad they didn't save some of that money for better effects and a fake but plausible sounding scientific explanation.

Also, the chanting of the company name at the beginning is extremely weird, is this a normal occurrence in American commercials? As I have been deeply immersed in American culture all my life while never witnessing such a thing outside of TellSell I find it hard to believe that this is the case. But commercials have of course not been a subject of interest for me and thus I may be mistaken.

This.

It's nice seeing Christopher Lloyd again, but this is obviously fake.

See at 2:12, the guy has the shirt on his left shoulder pulled and you can see a white vest underneath (probably part of a harness), the exact same thing with the girl at 2:33 and then again at 3:17 and then they forgot to remove the shadow on the white parking ticket booth at 3:28.

The question is: what is this for ? A skating competition ? A new movie ?
