Given how much the author seemed to want to emphasize it, Oppo is clearly...

...not playing games.

Oppos Find 5 was actually the first 1080p smartphone on the market so I'm not surprised to see them continue to push the envelope. QHD on a phone though... Honestly that's a little extreme when I myself have never seen anything a over 1080p in person.

No thanks.

I have a 6.45 inch 1080p screen on my phone and even then pixels are about impossible to see super close up. At normal viewing distances it looks pixel-less.

So yeah, advances of technology, things always getting better, innovations, etc, etc, etc, blah, blah, blah...1440p on a 5.5 inch screen is ridiculous and unneeded. All it will be is a batter drainer and cause GPU slowdown.

Isn't it funny how every time mobile GPU's get faster the average resolution seems to jump up?

good screen for the oculus rift ?

Yes one would think Samsung would own the high end virtual reality headset in the coming years with their oled screens though!

If this phone has a decent batterly life and the same size as a lg g2/s4 then I'm buying. S5 let me down by making it the same size as a note (its a tiny bit smaller)

I do want this phone. I had a S3 but Samsung doesn't seem to be changing their phones much each cycle.

I don't think too many people will choose an Oppo phone over an Samsung one. I don't care if it is better.
