No, bigger does not equals better when it comes to resolution in phones. Ok, so you don't play games, right? That's still more pixels to draw, on the same hardware as the SGS5, Note 3, Xperia Z2 and Nexus 5. Except all those phones run a lower resolution, and push less pixels, and therefore push the graphics chip less, and thus use less power.

No offence, but I get this impression you'd go for a 5 gajillion megapixel camera on a phone as well.... ignoring the image processing chip and all the other things that actually determine the quality of the image taken.

I was saying before, and I'm not alone in this, that staying with 1080p, for now, on current hardware is the best decision entirely until battery life can be extended through battery tech or more efficient hardware.

Battery life isn't huge to me but I'd prefer something as good as my iPhone 5S(My Galaxy S4 was horrible battery wise). I don't mind the camera quality too much as I don't take many pictures. I do agree though, 1080p now sounds like the better choice for most, I just like the option to have a higher resolution.

maybe for the women with a purse to carry it around. I really wish it was socially acceptable for a guy to carry a purse. I'd have all sorts of stuff in there. Though if I even carry a backpack or my laptop bag over my shoulder into a store I will get followed around because they think I am going to shop lift. Mrs.I-have-ten-kids can go in with a purse big enough to carry a floor jack and no one cares. Even on the street my backpack will often get me weird looks...probably because I am wearing a suit with it most of the time. I don't really care though...I gots stuff to haul.

However, if I could carry a "man bag" with me I'd be all over one of these large phones or one of those "phablets". It just isn't accessible enough in a backpack and I can fit a larger phone in my pocket but then I look like Dirty Harry packing a .357. Until that day comes, I am going to need to have a smaller phone to go in my pocket.

messenger bag is the answer. that said, i think phablets are overrated. they fail for one-handed usage making them not as useful for multi-tasking situations, like when you're eating or something

Behold the ultimate man purse. I use it, love it, it's awesome. Guys compliment me on it all the time. I'm married... to a woman btw. Tactical MAN PURSE FTW.

LoL So...just take a purse and put bullet bands on it and it becomes OK to carry? GENIUS!

I might have to look into this.

Ok well here's a dumb question. I have T-Mobile, would this phone be able to go on their network?? It looks amazing and I would love to be able to use it.
