Wow so you got about a week of good use then crash/reset?

If that's the case maybe try hooking up your PC to a different electrical socket in your househouse and or try a different surge protector? Maybe the higher watt PSU had bigger capacitors thus hiding the problem for a bit. That or it has to be the motherboard.

Sounds like power is not clean (stable enough). That would probably be causing the random freezing.

I still have a strong feeling that it's the motherboard.

my new motherboard and ssd is on the way hopefully things can be fixed

Update again: have been playing random games for 3 days now with 4.2ghz auto voltage, no freeze issue deteced biggrin.gif
should i change back to fixed voltage ?
