[Forbes] 'Titanfall' Will Have A Season Pass, Paid And Free DLC - Page 17

I don't understand this "OMG A SEASON PASS!? ME NO BAI" attitude. If that's how you're going to be, you're going to be seriously limited as far as games are concerned.

That's just how it is now. DLC and season passes.

Not really. There is plenty of options out there to entertain oneself without having to buy releases with season passes or day 1 DLC. Especially the indy scene is very healthy and there is some quality stuff in there if you look around for a bit. At the end of the day Titanfall is not the only shooter out there which offers one good amount of fun. For example, Tribes:Acend offers similar fast paced action with plenty of fun to be had and it is not the only game by any measure offering that. There might not be titans in the game specifically but I do not think there is many people out there buying the game just because of "omg titans" - most people are probably just after a good fps match to entertain themselves. Granted if one is on console then there is not that much content ofc but well .. that's one of the compromises one does when playing on a console.

I bought it from the Origin store.

If you use a proxy based in Mexico and access the Mexican store, the deluxe version costs $599MXN, which is $40AUD ($45USD)

Ahh sorry, my mistake. Bit of confusion with the currencies, I'm not sure what I must have done to get $40, sorry :S

Exactly, there are plenty of options out there that don't follow the practice that these AAA companies use that I can find enjoyment out of.
