making a 1366 heatkiller fit an 1155 socket (updated with pics)

Seeing that the XSPC RayStorm has slots for the screw to pass through, I could do the same thing for a heatkiller right?(image below)

http://www.microcenter.com/product/391519/XSPC_RayStorm_High_Performance_Acetal_CPU_Liquid_Cooling_Block

I know the kit is only $24, but it would take a week to get here. and I really only need to gain >3mm per hole

Think its worth a shot? Was thinking of using the hyper 212+ backplate and the screw from that to hold it in place, maybe get some washers if its sloppy.

Worked like a charm. All I needed was 2 #6 washers on each mounting screw.

Screws with two (2) #6 washers added.

Hack job of the 1366 WB to make it fit 1155 (holes needed to be much larger than I anticipated)

And a pic of the WB mounted on the 212+ backplate using the 212 mounting hardware.

Now I got the bug to mod my case side to get fresh air to my rad (it is under the 200mm big boy fan) cable management looks like crap on the bottom because I had to pull cages, move drives, get at a molex connection for the pump so no complaining about it!
