3570k burn in ?

Thread Starter
do these new cpu's need burning in ? I have never had this before to the amount the cpu changes as all my previous cpu's have held up to the settings I put them on when first getting them but this cpu seems to be different.
When I first got the cpu, as we all do, is test the limits of the new cpu where mine would need at least 1.26 in cpuz which is around 1.30 in real voltage to be stable @ 4.6 where I had ahci setup under the stat controllers, well anyway with some issues I had with the ahci driver as I posted in the hdd section was data corruption so I set them back to ide and no problem.
Now I decided to restest my cpu vcore settings where it has done now a 12 hour run of prime nearly (still in process) with 1.28 true vcore which shows as 1.24 in cpuz so that's a 0.020 difference with different sata controllers, now with me using less vcore is this due to the cpu burn in or is this due to my ahci controller being corrupted ?
