Does the Logitech G400s save settings onboard, unlike the G400 ?

I use a Xim Edge on my PS3. I know my G400 doesn't have onboard memory, but I like 1800 DPI that is one of the defaults.

The G400s does not have 1800, but 2000 DPI built in. I've been reading reviews and have seen conflicting stories.

Will someone confirm that if I change the G400s defaults to include 1800 DPI that it will keep the setting when I unplug it from my PC and plug it into my XIM Edge on my PS3?

Basically, does the G400s have onboard memory to store settings when power is lost or setpoint/drivers aren't used?

I'm using a G400s as my work mouse, and no. It doesn't have onboard memory, so unless you have setpoint installed it will not carry settings over from one machine to another.

Thanks, I decided to go ahead and order it. I will try it out with the built in 2000 DPI setting.
