And yea I think I will stay away from AIO. I will probably get air cooler.. Does the i5-4670k runs hot ? What fan is sufficient for it? But looking to overclock in the future. For GPU the 780GTX is more expensive 100$ than the r9290.

Is this an overkill?

There isn't anything wrong with an AIO. i've used a lot of them, torn them apart, and currently running a custom water loop with two Kuhler 920 units. They are also fantastic for very small cases.
Air coolers are of course the reliability standard.
Keep in mind if you don't really plan to overclock you could first run the CPU stock with the Intel cooler and see how it goes, then later purchase a better cpu cooler and overclock.
The performance of a 4670k is excellent for gaming and a single monitor setup at stock clocks. It does not run hot, you really don't need much to keep them cool.

I said, 1600 is said to be the best for haswell.

BUT IF

you like faster ram go for 2133 or 2400 because the gain by using 1866 is so tiny tiny that it won´t matter and you can save the money

All the Haswell CPU´s run kinda hot when overclocked, but that´s the design of them. Theys also can sustain more heat though.
I had my 4770k with an Scythe Mugen 2 with the fans that are included and also a Noctua U12P and the cooling was sufficent and quiet. And I had mine overclocked. With OC under normal use it never reached far past 60°C

On stock clock you won´t see high tempos at all.Around 45-50°C
I have also a GTX 770 and I can run all games at Ultra/High on 1440p.

I personaly think a 290 or a 780 are overkill for a single monitor setup. But you can always find a point that is pro buying a stronger CPU

There's little difference between 1600 and 1866mhz , the 2400mhz performs better..

I have a 4770K and I only have the CPU heatsink and one fan pushing heat away, on idle it's only 25-30c hot and on gaming it never goes above 60c.. Take a look at the Thermaltake NiC F3 that's what I have it's cheap and performs well..

Sorry forgot you were getting it OC'ed..

HDD: WD 1TB Caviar Blue HDD
GPU: Sapphire R9 290 tri-x 4GB DDR5
PSU: Seasonic S12 II 620W PSU
Chasis: CM Storm Stryker
Cooler: Corsair Hydro H100i Liquid Cooling
SSD: Plextor M5S 128GB SSD

How's it? This build is for my cousin I"ve had an AMD build now I decide to go for intel.. Is it going to last for at least 6 years? To play all of the latest game?

Any advise or changes? I think the motherboard & PSU could change to other or is it fine as it is ?
I would personally get the 4770k but if you're on a budget I get that. Look into any local MicroCenters near you. They are usually much cheaper on CPU's. I would personally also get a 'green' GPU but what you have is good. This should last a long time given the components do not fail prematurely. Can't really future proof but I think we're at a point where games are only going to increase at small margins so you should be ok with this build for 4-5 years.

If I recall the Haswell's do not OC well when memory is above 1866. But that could very from system to system. Yes 2400 will perform better but you'll get better performance from an OCd CPU that from OCd memory. IMHO

I know, but that depends on the mobo too right? But I agree with you on the OC part..Unfortunately my 4670 was a gift and isn't of the K series so minor to no OC at all for me now tongue.gif

Ummm OP, I'm not sure the H100 will fit into the case you've picked. Yes the rad itself will fit, but the fans would be iffy. Seems like it would be a very hardware dependant fit. You will want to either change coolers or cases.

If you change the cooler, I suggest the NZXT Havic 140.

If you change the case, I suggest the NZXT Phantom (any of them)

Also, where do you live OP? Maybe we can help you further. Also whats your budget?

Looking good. A few options you might consider.

Case- The NZXT H440 is an excellent design, comes with plenty of fans and should be real quiet.$20 cheaper than the Storm Stryker. Of course everyone has their own tastes in style.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146148

SSD- Samsung EVO....reliability and performance. They have the best failure rate of any manufacturer. Plus you can get the 250GB for just $40 more than the Plextor M5 128GB.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147248

RAM- Love GSkill, however Haswell CAN use higher memory speeds,no reason not to get higher. In fact there are cheaper kits that are faster., like this Team Group kit. They are great a quality manufacturer. $68 for 2133MHz kit
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820313431
PSU-The Seasonic S12 II is a good PSU,getting a little long in the tooth though. You can step up to a gold rated 750w Rosewill Capstone unit that is much better for a few dollars more.
Plus it has a 7 yr warranty.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182073
Cooling-not a big amount, but the new H105 has a slightly thicker radiator than the H100i

Thanks for the replies guys ! For the MOBO I think in going z87 asrock extreme 6. And i5-4670k. And x650 PSU. For the CPU cooler maybe H100i but I'm afraid it will be noisy and leakage or I'm better off with a air cooler? I can only get cm storm/ noctua cooler for air cooler...

Any advises? About my MOBO as well? I really appreciate ur replies thanks going to finalize the build by tonight and getting the. Parts tmrw
