[Appraisals] Powercolor 290x

Thread Starter
Hi just thinking about selling my three Powercolor 290x gpu's.

Like new never been watercooled or moded and come with boxes.

What do you think they are worth each?

Thanks

I think that $575 might be too high, as right now you can get a NIB HIS with full warranty from the Egg for $596 shipped, or $589 if you have Shoprunner. As far as I know, the Powercolor warranty does not transfer and to me the $15-$20 savings at the expense of no warranty on a nearly $600 part doesn't make sense.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161438&nm_mc=OTC-pr1c3grabb3r&cm_mmc=OTC-pr1c3grabb3r-_-Electronics-_-Hightech+Information+System+Ltd+-_-N82E16814161438&scpid=7&scid=scsho5452545

In addition, a NIB Powercolor 290X is also available for $600 with F/S, so that's only $25 more, again for NIB with full warranty.

As it appears that inventory is starting to surface again, I think that you have to drop the price down below $550, maybe even more to entice someone to go used vs new on these guys. It may very well be that the days of post it up for sale and watch the mad frenzy are coming to an end.

Edit:
OP, I just realized that you are located in Australia, so clearly my links to NE prices don't have any merit. I don't know what kind of pricing differentials there are in Australia, as compared to the US. I know that European and British pricing is higher than ours, but with you being closer to Asia maybe your prices are even lower than the US???

It's good you dropped in to contribute, as you're going to be more knowledgeable about pricing in that part of the world than any of us sitting here in the continental USA.
