Would it be fine to go with the H440 vs Phantom 630 in the situation of using a Kraken G10?

So I am gonna build a new PC soon and I like the H440 more than the Phantom 630, but I also prefer silence. What I mean by that is, I would like to use the Kraken G10 and a X40/60. Problem is, I did this on my GTX 760 a while ago and a chip burned.
On the left side, towards the middle of the chips you can see how one burned. I did use little copper heatsinks on them with a fan blowing across them, but it still happened. With the Kraken G10, the fan doesn't blow over those little chips. It would Blow over that other area where the stock heatsink doesn't even touch (fan is useless on the GTX760?). That's why I am unsure if I should get a Phantom or H440, the phantom would have the side fan to blow over those chips, whereas the H440 would not. Am I wrong or missing something? Thanks for any thoughts
