The Nvidia K1 benchmarks on AnTuTu have come out and they're leaps and bounds ahead of everything else. Last month we reported on the NVIDIA Tegra K1 that was announced at CES 2014, and that the Tegra K1 SoC was believed to operate at 2.5Ghz. However there is now some confirmation that the 64-bit dual-core variation is running at a massive frequency of 3.0Ghz. The Tegra K1 GPU is based on the Kepler architecture found in the company's latest PC GeForce graphics cards with 192 cores.

Now I'm really interested in hearing some details about the custom arm cores in this thing.

Hopefully Jensen will throw us a bone or two during the opening keynote at GTC.

More importantly... what's the power consumption?

Faster than the SnapDragon 805? Interesting. Will definitely keep an eye on this SoC from here on out. Let's just hope it isn't expensive as hell!

It probably won't be too much more than other ARM SoCs.... but that power consumption profile will determine if it sells.

Power consumption differences between the A15 quad vs. denver dual versions are going to be interesting to see.

The demo K1s with A15s with 2.3GHz cores already probably have okay-ish power consumption (despite what Charlie says) since 2.1GHz chips have already been spotted in tegra notes:
