Corsair 760T Owners Club - Page 17

eh, i think i'll just wait. have too much invested in the 760t's layout. like i said, i would've switched to the 750d, since it has the same layout, but turns out my motherboard won't fit in there because of the standoffs.

YES! this is what I'm planning on doing.. did you actually calculate the surface area of your opening, to determine if you have more or less flow than the plain vented top, or did you just make up a clearance arbitrarily?

Debating whether it would be too tacky looking to paint the top cover red on a black 760T.. thoughts anyone?

just a clearance arbitrarily. but the airflow is much better now. i only want a compromise between a dust cover and enough airflow for the radiator

would you be so kind as to share a few more details? smile.gif

  1. what height are those stand-offs?
  2. what are the stand-offs made of (where were they purchased)?
  3. how did you attach them to the plastic top cover?

I'm not sure which thread is going to be the main 760T thread, so I'm assuming the '[Official] Corsair Graphite Club' will be the one. If anyone cares: I've thrown some parts in my newly arrived 760T and posted some pics here.
