with a graphics card in, or without? kinda sounds like you damaged the die

on codes as in no error codes? or no codes as in the readout doesn't give anything at all?

did you try clearing the CMOS? I would do that any time I re-seat a CPU anyways, just in case.

Usually the boards code on the display on the maximus vi gene is 00, still 00. Gpus are in, I figured if the die is damaged wouldn't it still go into UEFI?

I worked for a large motorized wheel chair manufacturer for 5 years and any new product from China(Over Seas) can be touch and go until the first few containers arrive in the USA and can be QC checked thoroughly by inspectors and engineers.

I would give Corsair the full benefit of any doubts you may have while waiting.

Not necessarily, it depends how badly the die is damaged. if voltage is not getting through the CPU, the motherboard will not power on but since you're getting a POST code that doesn't seem to be the case.. try booting without a GPU and only one stick of RAM

We'll it is good to hear that amazon would get their shipment before corsair ( which is quite odd) pre ordered the black on the 10th of feb . So I will wait a tad bit longer now that I know this information . It is just a bit harder for me being overseas military where as I have to wait another 3-4 weeks on top of the release date . If I was in the states and could get it less than a week after it releases I wouldn't even care about the dates to be honest

So I went to frys today to pickup a new 4770k..third one...That was my second fail attempt at delidding. The new cpu boots right up no issue. Too bad that last chip was decent. It went to 4.6 at 1.25.... This one is like 4.6 at 1.285...

Overseas Europe.
The shipping process over here is horrible. The only way i can guarantee that the case is not broken into a million peices is to go through an american shipping system.
So if i were to order in the EU it would have to be shipped to america then shipped to me. Which could take more than 2 months for that process to complete.
