Corsair 760T Owners Club - Page 89

I'm just saying dude. Its not the end of the world but you do expect it to be perfect for the money.

If you bought a new car and it had a scratch on it, would you accept that its just a manufacture defect? Doubt it.

I didn't pay £160 for it, I'm a partner of a well known computer company here in the UK so I paid about £125 for it.

I would accept the car if the scratch was barely visible. The very faint scratch on the door latch of the 760T is hardly noticeable. You have to go up very close to see it... and it's in no way a 'defect' it doesn't effect the functionality of the case does it? thumb.gif

I wouldn't but that's just a differ of opinions thumb.gif

I am happy with the case don't get me wrong!

Has anyone done any sound proofing or has any tips to get rid of some of the vibrations? There's a kind of humming noise coming from somewhere. Have stopped all my fans one by one but its not any of those

It's likely the top removable cover. Remove that and see if the noise still persists biggrin.gif

Hmmmmm interesting. You're running a custom waterloop to your CPU right? Check the pump and the radiator.

I had a question on the 760T there appears to be a door issue with the bottom hinge on the see through side being difficult to remove panel and is required to wiggle it back and forth. Have others had this issue ? Also when you go to close the door it looks like the top touchs before bottom then it snaps into place. I know these are nit picky things but are bothering me, other than that everything else is good. I suppose I could swap doors and hinges or would that not work due to the orientation? Ive heard for things like this corsair requires you to rma entire case and pay the shipping charge which is absurd, if i could rule out the door or hinges it would be much more feasible to get those parts.
