good job kojima

File size relates to price? When did this start happening?

Not directly but file size usually gives some (but not absolute) indication on amount of content. Amount of content does have a direct relation to price.

The drama revolving around MGS games has really turned me off to them (especially some of the entitled comments made by the developers) so I haven’t been following much but If that $30 is part of the price of the full game fine. But if’s $30 for a 2hr demo and then $60 for the rest of the game. I say, no dice kojima.

Parts 1 and 2 were some of my favorite games (Snake eater i stopped at some point), but part 4... probably the best game I've ever played...

I hope part 5 can continue the trend...
As far as it coming to PC... i'll probably play it on the console...

Ha had a PS3 for ages, never got round to picking up MGS4 though I've wanted it for so long, I plan to start from MGS1 to 5, I loved the series but never picked up 3 or 4.

I will be enjoying MGSV: GZ on my PS4...

What happens when you have devs calling PC gamers pirates even though most of the consoles released can have pirated content so easily, and well, exclusives really, we have exclusives, they have exclusives, and we want their exclusives too and they want ours. War Thunder, War Frame, Diablo 3, Witcher 3 the list goes on.

We shouldn't have to ask for titles to come to our platforms for us to spend OUR money, their economic loss really, but once they see people are prepared to ask for these games they think "Hang on, we can make money from this market too" either that or get them to crawl on their knees for titles, The Division, GTA 5 (Which is inevitable) MGS5, FFXV, at least in most cases we get what we ask for, sometimes in the quality we wish for unlike Dark Souls, However Dark Souls II seems to be an improved port, some might say beggars cant be choosers but it is our money we are throwing at them so there's no reason to expect a shoddy port even though some people are prepared to fork out money for whatever port comes their way.

Why has it come to the point where we have to ask to spend our own money?

You won't be disappointed. There are liberal amounts of fan-service in 4 so it may be worth getting a refresher on 1-3 before making the plunge.

(sarcasm) No, PC gamers don't want any games, why would they want games? PCs were meant for word processing and looking at pictures of cats. Nobody ever plays games on them. Not like they can handle a modern day game either better than ever before. Seriously. (/sarcasm)

You know, why do people do this? Yes we're interested and if you're gonna be a wishy-washy person with your head in the sand that isn't sure whether folks on PC are gonna show interest, then you don't deserve to program a game for the master race. jealoussmiley.gif

2 hour demo? The main storyline is 2 hours and it's only 8% of the game.

It's not a master race if devs don't really care about it.
