Motherboard - laptop

Thread Starter
Hi Guys, just in the middle of setting up my build,
My question is : I want to check the components on my motherboard before installing all into my case. Can I use/ connect my laptop (screen) as a "Monitor" to see if bios come up from my motherboard (PC). At this point of time I don't have a monitor yet.
I know I could use my HD TV as a monitor, but thats not near my work place, and it would be much easier if I could take my laptop to my work table.

The vast majority of laptops don't have video in, the easiest solution would be hooking your PC up to your HDTV for testing.
