I would gladly pay $60 for watchdogs if it delivers. Not just graphics wise but GAMEPLAY wise. Yes we want it to be the best looking next-gen title ever. But that's half of the game. The other half is how the game actually plays. I think people tend to forget still that games are not just about graphics. Look at the best games back in the 80's and 90's and very early 2000's. It was about STORY.

For a game that really doesn't have that good/well-developed of a known storyline (as far as we, the consumers know), this game needed something to differentiate itself from the rest of the AA games out there. It really needed an immersive factor to keep you pinned to the world.[

 

Graphics are a huge part of the equation in a game like this. Where it is about immersion into the world, not plot, that keeps you at your desk. And they seem to have miserably failed at the graphics portion.

 

People wouldn't be so darn upset if they hadn't gone to great lengths to make the vertical slice that they showed at E3 so damn good compared to, what is essentially, the release footage of the game.

 

It is incredibly deceptive what they did. And they miserably failed at hiding that deception.

is it really so surprising?....ACM at E3 was a completely different game than the final version. What is really sad is how a game can get worse over the course of its development.

Not sure how true this is because MGS looks much better than the Xbox one version and ps4 version also has dynamic weather where as Xbox one does not.

Its not so much that the graphics get worse it likely that ubisoft were shooting for the stars with the e3 2012 build. But when they tried to get the whole thing running its possible it wasn't stable and thus, graphical downgrade.

I didn't think the second and third GIF comparisons were terribly different. [Or they goofed and are showing the same footage twice.] The first one has to be a comparison using a PS3 because the graphical downgrade is just absurd, it's beneath even the XB1's hardware.
