Well, less need for AA in games, let alone 4K itself for one thing. Texts are a lot sharper from a closer distance, less desk space needed (this is important for college dorm rooms!) and yadadada.....

And this one can be rotated into portrait orientation whereas the 32 inch cannot.

32" is VESA mount capable, just like every other UltraSharp. You can put it any way you like.

Waiting on new displayport or HDMI

I returned my 4k monitor because incompatibilities are unacceptable in a $200, let alone a $1200, monitor

I would have been pretty bumbed when the new standards did release, possibly with G-sync, if I kept it

And 4k at 24 inches was definitely sharp but the experience for me was like looking at a big sharp view from a far away small window. I don't think 24 inches does it justice

I'm surprised that manufacturers aren't going to be making 4k monitors @ 16:10 ratio. That truly is the golden ratio for monitors.

Actually, that's the golden ratio.... period.

Anyone that doesn't believe me, research "The Golden Ratio"

Never giving up my 16:10 monitors. thumb.gif

Meh not buying any 4k TV or monitor until they implement everything rec2020 has in it, specifically 12-bit color.
