Corsair H60 issue (found the issue updated thread) - Page 2

I have seen a mod where someone has taken the tubing off and replaced it with his own clear or UV (can't remember). If all else fails, I guess you can say you have a spare 120mm radiator and fan?

Did you at least try to get an rma?

No, I can't get an RMA when I don't have the purchase details. Like I said, this was a hammy down from a friend who bought an h100 to replace the h60. I have seen those mods indeed, And I'd like to check it out, maybe be able to replicate it for my graphics card.

Bummer they have a non-transferable warranty.

I wonder if you can find a cheap pump to replace it with, maybe a higher RPM one like from Swiftech/CM. Then you could do the gpu mod and use it once again.

Well if there is a clog then maybe the situation is salvageable. But I'd have to take it apart. I wonder what the likelyhood that the liquid... just... got swallowed by a black hole. I will have to check into the inner workings. Maybe the pump isn't dead, maybe it's just air bubbles getting in the way because somehow magically evaporation can penetrate through solid materials...

You did mention flicking it did improve the temperature, so it could be possible. Keep us updated, i'm curious to know the outcome.

Yeah I didn't notice it until much later. I accidentally flicked the tubes and that's when I noticed that that actually did it.
