    If it turns out that you need some of those devices to be connected (but without the delay), you can try looking through your BIOS settings for USB options.  If you find them, try disabling any settings that read like: USB Storage, USB Boot, USB Legacy, and see if you can retain those faster boot speeds with your devices connected.
    Usually, when USB causes such a slowdown, it is because the BIOS is pinging each connected USB device in turn looking for flash drives (USB thumb drives) to add to its boot device and disk drive lists.  I've had some (older) BIOSes freeze up when pinging some non-disk devices, and was very thankful for the option to disable such activity.  Just remember the options you disabled so that you can re-enable them if you ever need to boot from a USB stick. thumb.gif
