I consider Natural Selection 2 and Rising Storm to be the only PvP shooters worth getting. They aren't designed for the underage console crowd like Titanfall/CoD/BF are, they're real PC games and they're actually something quite different.

Really biased opinion IMO..

Heres some info on both to help you with your decision since some people are only capable of spouting of simple ignorant comments.

CoD redface.gif
Realistically it is still the same CoD you have been playing forever.
As for long lasting you know people will jump ship just like they do every year to play the new one.
Graphics are better but still not on par for AAA games.
If you like CoD gameplay then you will enjoy this game for the most part.
I say good luck on finding a deal though..

BF4 thumb.gif
It feels quite a bit different than BF3 which I actually love. I have been playing BF games since 1942 and 4 has been my favorite new one since BC2.
With this game you know you will have a solid player base for atleast another year and a half.
The graphics are awesome. I wont say they are the greatest on the planet but they really stepped it up from BF3.
If you enjoy battlefield style games ie Conquest, Rush, Domination then you are bound to have a good time.
Even with all of the bugs it is still an enjoyable game that will hopefully just get better and better as time goes on.
Also with BF4 you should be able to find a deal and pick it up real cheap. Premium is a pain in the butt and I hate it as much as the next guy but if you plan on playing regularly then its really recommended.

Titanfall biggrin.gif

Soooo Stoooooooked!!!

The beta was awesome and I am hoping the full game will be even better. I pre ordered it and got it for $42 hehe biggrin.gif

Awesome gameplay and fun mech mechanics!
Maps are kinda small though..
My friends and I are worried about this game becoming boring rather quickly but i guess only time will tell.

It has extremely limited gameplay though (practically only one game mode) albeit very rewarding and its visuals are rather obsolete.

Would really use the term really limited gameplay when mentioning it doesn't have many modes. It just comes off wrong. Most people do stick to territory though, you're right. It's still a decent game mode. Doesn't change that the actual mechanics of the game are far superior than every other shooter out there.

I also don't find the visuals to be obsolete. It's one of the nicer looking UE3 games. Definitely not the best but I wouldn't call them obsolete.

I say South Park if that was seriously a choice. If you weren't serious, I would get whichever one you have the most friends playing because, ultimately, that makes the biggest difference in my mind.

CS Go is really fun, just be prepared to die 10,000,000 times while you get to know the maps. Those people have been playing that game for years and years.

Yes South Park was a serious consideration... looks amazing... but shooter is the flavor of the week...

Ghost gets a bad rep for me due to the fanboys... thank you for the reminder.

So my comment is ignorant because you're drinking the Titanfall kool-aid and I'm not? I'm biased because you can't contain your excitement when discussing Titanfall? It is clear as day that CoD Ghosts, BF4, and Titanfall are all targeted at the same crowd, which would be the casual gaming crowd (especially on consoles). If you believe otherwise then you're only lying to yourself and demonstrating your own ignorance. The technical issues of both Ghosts and BF4 are also very well documented.

Your list of opinions doesn't do an adequate job describing or comparing any of the three games really. CoD/Titanfall have claustrophobic map design, BF4 has big maps. Titanfall is limited to 6 vs 6 plus bots. CoD has streak rewards so that the game does even more of the work for you. Spawns are much more random in CoD than Battlefield. BF4 has land, sea, and air vehicles, Titanfall has mechs/wallrunning/jetpacks.
