I also found that my vid card doesn't like mem clocks above stock, performance seems to go backwards even at +50mhz ....

Thanks

The instructions are on the opening post under "Unlock and Overclock"

Lightnings available at Newegg. Main 290x page shows not available. Click on Lightning and you will see that they are available. Just purchased my second for crossfire. POWER thumb.gif

Ab works for more volts, I can get a pass to 1290 now but score goes backwards with any mem overclocks at all, is this normal? Power limit is showing only 50% in AB is rhis normal too? Has anyone (skyn3t maybe) released an unlocked bios?

Thanks guys

Anyone have two lightnings in crossfire? How are the temps, especially the tp card?

I might be wrong, but I believe if you are on Ln2 Bios you have unlimited Power limit.

I don't think skyn3t makes BIOS for AMD cards.

For more core clock try more voltage I guess.

Memory oc helps in some benches and not in others. Skynet is a Nvidia guy. I don't know of any AMD bios coming from him.

^^ LN2 bios does not give you unlimited power. Only thing I know for sure that it does is use full power phase.

Yeah I have 2 in crossfire and did a few runs on valley and firestrike, bottom card is no problem, top card gets to around 80 degrees C with +50mV on both cards with a full run of valley and fans at 100%. I didnt push anymore volts through it on air with croosfire, waiting for the blocks to come out to hopefully get some nice numbers!

How much space/slots do u have between them?
I had only 1 slot between them to achieve x16 speed on the pci-e slots

Not sure if this has been answered already.
The lighted "lightning" on the side of the card stays constant RED no matter the load. This should go from Green to Red based on load based on reviews I have read. I know of two cards that stays RED 100% of the time with No color change.

Are you all seeing this?
