If you have the 6pin plus the two 8pin then it will stay red all the time. If just the two 8 pin it will change.

My two 290x lightning's in crossfire. Currently running 1180 Core and 1650 Memory on both cards. LN2 bios setting.

Got another 100 points in firestrike by dropping core to 1170Mhz. Too much error correcting I guess. Score now 19850. Trying for a 20K score, but cant hit it.
memory still solid at 1650.

Maybe a suicide run, but I hate doing that.

Not sure why you all are pushing the memory speeds. You have abundant memory bandwidth. Push the core and leave the memory at 6000 effective

I finally hit 20K+

Lowered the CPU memory controller voltage from 1.30V to 1.25V. Increased my overall score across all core speeds. thumb.gif

I will post Firestrike GPU scores comparing 1500 vs. 1650 memory speeds sometime today. wink.gif

hi can you do same test only with one card just for reference? there is a record with a kingpin gtx780 arround 17thousand on same benchmark just wanted to know how close is the 290x lightning tho... thanks
