max your PL. don't use Aux. easy on the VDDC.
edit: if all else fails . . . we switch gpus.just kidding. rma it.
Cannot RMA something that works as advertised (great at stock clocks). This card beahves exactly like a Msi 290x Gaming that had 82% Asic, extremly low voltage during Firestrike Extreme.
Just did a 20min run of Firestrike extreme (13.12 again) with 1125 at stock (+63mv) without any artifacts, enabled unnoficial overclock enable (never needed to enable it), and disabled UPLS (i know it´s for crossfire but i had to try it), didnt saw arfifacts so fingers crossed..there is hope for this POS i guess... but i must insist this piece of silicon draws so little VDDC, there are times in Firestrike where it falls to 1.09V, but fluctuates mostly between 1.14~1.16.
Will do some more testing, gonna do some heaven and some BF4.
Edit: Also disabled Lightboost Hack, i know that is not because of this, but im "all in" right now.
Not all the parts of the Firestrike benchmark need the GPU to run at full speed.
What about the parts with thw loading screens.
The GPU will clock down dutint those parts and hence the lower voltage.
Also my the 290X L also draws 1.3 V according to GPU-Z with +200mv offset.
Which seems good to me.
It takes me 175 mv to get 1200 stable everywhere
Yoy should be able to do it too.
Don't try to OC your memory right now.
First get your core sorted out.
