Leave it at stock

Hot to the touch is alright (within reason), but you're probably up against the limits. Figure the same board is "supposed" to be able to run 140W CPUs like the ole 965 C2 and the FX-8150/8350 (I know they are in the 125W TDP "spec" but they shouldn't be, they draw power like "140W" chips). So basically you can theoretically support an overclock that draws similar power as these other chips do "stock."

Just keep in mind that overclocking increases power draw both linearly with clock speed and to the square of the voltage increase required to maintain it. Power consumption scales up very quickly when overclocking.

Ive had first hand experience with this board, i wouldnt even advise that tbh.

I had the 4100 on it and had to mod the vrms with heatsinks for vram/vrm. it only helped slightly. i also tested how long it would take to throttle with different scenarios. For example, different voltages, speeds and LLC.

Worst case scenario is within a second overclocked/volted, best case within 30 seconds at stock.

The board would have the cpu at 3300mhz on a single core every cycle. Even tested temps, volts with apparatus and well lets say the chances of failure are high!
