Want to Buy 120gb Crucial M4/Samsung 840

Will Ship To: Anywhere

:rolleyes:Looking for either of these drives, $65 or less. I saw an M4 for 60 a few days ago and missed it. Send me a pm, include a disk health screenshot. Thanks.

Edit: I'm still rocking a 775 board so I'm looking for a slightly older and cheaper ssd since I won't see any added benefit with the newest and fastest. 64gb will be considered also.

I understand a price limit, but why $65? For damn near twice the price you can get three times the drive and performance (combined). Don't get me wrong, I fully understand a price limit, and if its a hard cap, so be it... but something like the Samsung 840 EVO 250gb or the OCZ Vertex 450 256gb are well worth the invested money. IN my personal research those seem to be the best two in terms of bang for your buck...

If you really have to go cheaper, then I haven't done the appropriate research to help you... frown.gif

I'm on 775 which means SATA II. I just don't need blazing speed. An older cheaper drive is all I need. redface.gif

If i may express my personal opinion. If i were you i would get a brand new drive, even if it is sata III.
the advantages i want to express to you are that it will not only come with a warranty, but also be far less abused than an ssd that is already a few years old. Not only will you then get a warranty but you can be confident the ssd will have a longer life span compared to one that may have been used as a boot drive, expecially if the user didnt disable the page fil.
another advantage is if you ever upgrade to a board that does have sata III, you will not have to yet again get another ssd, saving you money in the long run.
The only disadvantage i see of getting a brand new ssd is price.
keep an eye out on the sales and get a good one for under 100.
As of right now i see there is an Adata 128gb ssd on newegg for $64.99, as long as you're willing to go with that brand i would say that is the best bet. I like adata, bought a 64gb ssd 3 years ago for my core 2 quad rig, traded that rig to a friend for a processor and motherboard, and to this day it is still running. hope this helps.

I think I'm going to end up doing just that since I'm getting no response really. I'll leave it up til Friday and then I'll just get a new one. Thanks.

You're welcome. I am not sure what the OCN policy is on links, but you can find the $65 128gb ssd here
there is a 3 year warranty on it as well. for $65 i would say you cant go wrong. Promo expires on the 17th if my info is accurate, but i would not want to wait to buy. Good luck!

Edit: i also wanted to point out that it comes with the 3.5 inch adapter. thumb.gif

That is the one i grabbed the 128gb adata ssd off of and linked him to. But more info is almost never a bad thing. some of those are promo codes only, fortunately the one i had linked is just priced accordingly. I have tried having my buddy use a promo code when he was not subscribed and it did not work.
