does not cost anything to subscribe, unfortunately only helps someone for future promos and not current promo codes. But as i had mentioned fortunately the ssd i had linked is just priced accordingly and does not need to be a subscriber to purchase at that price. smile.gif

Nice find on that Adata! For 65 bucks, I might snag one of these and see how a new brand does...

I would most likely pick one up if i had a need for it, but i'm trying to cut down on my impulse buying. all 3 of my gaming desktops and my laptop have ssds in them for a primary boot drive. Snag it up and let me know how it compares to other brands thumb.gif

That is above his $65 max budget he had mentioned and the promo codes do not work for non subscribers, I had tried with a buddy of mine ordering an 1100T amd processor a couple years ago. i found the code because i was subscribed and he was not, he tried to use it at the checkout and the price did not change. I used it on my checkout and it was applied. mind you we were using the same computer and browser for ordering. bottom line is if you're not subscribed you are not using promo codes that come on the eblast.

If i were the one asking the question i would definitely go for the 240, however i am not the one asking tongue.gif
and in my opinion there is no such thing as future proof when it comes to computer hardware.

I tried to sell my Samsung PM830 256gb for $100 and I got no activity. Not sure why you can't find one.

idk either. but the deals are so sweet currently I'll just buy a new one. Doesn't bother me to shell out a few extra dollars I suppose.
