How much difference is there in performance between the 660 and 760?

Thread Starter

I currently have two EVGA 2GB SC2 GTX 660s in SLI and I'm looking into upgrading those to two EVGA 4GB SC GTX 760s in SLI. How much of a performance increase do you think I'll get and do you think I'd be better off going with something else for around the same price (these are refurbished from newegg for $280US each)?

EDIT:

Also, would I have issues running 4 concurrent monitors off of these? I'm a major multi-tasker...

About 20-30% increase depending on title.

But I'd recommend you get one of these EVGA GTX780s and sell your 660s.

I can't answer your question, but I have one 660 now and am also considering upgrading.

However it doesn't seem to be the greatest time to upgrade, as the new high-end chip is coming out later in the year. I was considering another 660 to run in sli to hold me off, but I want some new technology to last for more than just another year.

In my opinion you should wait to upgrade to the newer single card.

Im sorry that I didn't answer your question though.

a 760 is effectively a 670, and a 770 is a 680 if that helps
