Grats on your purchase!

Will do. Will hopefully be able to post a picture tomorrow during the day. I already started posting in the thread earlier.

Yeah. I am hoping for the best, expecting the worst. I don't do an immense amount of typing at home right now unless it is on the forums or coding, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem. I mainly play LoL too so it's not like I am doing 100 wpm while playing, only minimal keystrokes.

People adjust quickly, I didn't like the slickness of the keys on my Ducky at first, but after 2 weeks I don't notice it now.

I think that I am heavy on keyboards as well. I type fast but at the same time I slam the keys down pretty hard. I am interested on what I will find tomorrow. We are supposedly getting a pretty big order in tomorrow of around 6 new PCs that need set up, so I will be trying my hand at them when I get the keyboard with the same delivery. devil-smiley-019.gif

LIGHT WEIGHT!

Cherry switches are pretty rage proof, and if you're heavy handed, you'll like greends/blacks/clears over the lighter spring varriants.

Well after getting a delivery of 16+ monitors, 6+ desktops and laptops, and numerous other hardware, still no keyboard. I was pretty upset considering the truck was from the same location on my tracking number, and it was out for delivery per the website. Sigh.

Update: So sometime around lunchtime today another fedex driver came by the office and dropped off one solo package. It was my keyboard! I was ecstatic. I couldn't focus on what I was even doing. I ran out once he left to claim my package, and quickly ran back to the tech room as fast as I could. I threw my old keyboard on my workstation to the side, and began to plug in my new ducky shine 3! We had 2 spare cables that I could use for the keyboard, so I hooked one up and got to work! I started typing on it ASAP, and man what could I say. I love it! It is amazing. I immediately fell in love. It is an amazing keyboard as is. The lighting features bring it above the rest. I did notice that the keys take a little bit of extra force to actuate, but once you start typing fast it isn't too noticeable. It is a good, stiff feeling; but at the same time it feels amazing.

Glad it's working out. I went from Reds to Blues and have fewer typos now.

I almost tried the greens when I got my last keyboard. I have the CM Storm Quckfire Rapid and Quickfire TK at home for gaming and personal use and an Adesso MKB-135B at the office. Both the Quickfires have Cherry MX blues. I've had the Rapid for couple of years. I had a small desk space so the Rapid was a perfect fit. I just got the Quickfire TK cause I wanted the back lit keys but I didn't want to go to a full size keyboard even though I have a large desk at home now. I have like the blues but I'm not a heavy handed typer and both keyboards are really fast.

The Adesso is a full size mechanical and I've been pretty impressed with it. The most notable thing is that it is one of the few mechanical keyboards that I've found that has 2 usb ports and headphone and mic jacks on the keyboard and it only runs about $75 on Amazon.

The Adesso website doesn't state that the keyboard uses Cherry MX Blues but that appears to be what's the photo.

For a work keyboard I would try to find an old compaq mx11800 it has cherry browns, and the some clears, the space is a clear. I got mine for $25 on eBay, the BEST deal on a mech keyboard if you can find it. Plus you don't have something flashy that's a target to be stolen, you won't feel bad tearing it up and duh, it says made in Germany on the back smile.gif
