Yep, I basically was looking at the Samsung U28D590, Asus PB287Q and Lenovo Pro2840m. I reckoned that all three basicaly had the same panel, with the only difference being OSD & physical stand functions. Out of the three I would have preferred the Asus because its stand offers more flexibility than a naughty gymnast, however I knew the first one that became available would get my impatient dolla thumb.gif

I had Samsung S27A750s in the past and really enjoyed those, so I am happy with my decision.

Thats not the point...the point is there will always be some form of issue with MST. It might not be an issue for the programs you or I use, but mark my words it will always cause an issue out there for some user, who would not have a problem with the automst in the new panels.
Manual MST = Mo problems = Fact

It's not the "few minutes " I'm about. It's that it shows to the PC as two screens. Nowadays Eyefinity/Surround sort of work pretty well but they are not without their issues still.

Gaaahhhh Fedex its a friggin Ebay purchase for Godsakes....I mean really..... Plus, I have already asked them to double check with their Korean counterparts because the seller claims to have already provided the completed 740 FCC form on his end.

What a pain in the ass. Seriously. FedEx all your base belong to us mad.gif

My vendor said that due to the extra time it took to ship it, he "paid double" (I found it interesting that they told me that) to ship it via UPS, so we'll see what happens. So far I haven't heard anything from UPS.

I feel for you, man. Keep us updated and I hope everything works out smoothly!

Why can't they do that with the Samsung headscratch.gif

Guys if they make some much trouble its not worth buying from korea
Its just one Month and u will have full warranty, 30 days return , 699 dollars, no dutys, no hassel.

Its just not worth risk 800 dollars for a monitor without any warranty and possibile tax dutys and delay.

Me too After seeming this post i was very interested in buy this monitor from korea.
But after all this hassle , no warranty , higher price, high risk, possible delay , customs tax i will wait until the 17 april .
Just ordered from amazon Hassle Free.

I have sold all of my other high end displays earlier than anticipated. I am currenly using an ancient lcd hdtv on my work pc cause 290xs dont support analog crt anymore. So my Fw900 sits cold as my eyes are literally bleeding out of my head and I cant wait 30 extra days for this to be in US stores! Warranty be damned..im sure if anything happens and i cry hard enough samsung will service me.
