Well, or try a different power cord. These came with Korean plugs right? And you used a different US style cable? So try the original Korean plug with an adapter like this:



Im imagining you used a cable like the one I got on the left right?

Not sure, I still haven't received the monitor yet. wink.gif I was more concerned with the quality of display connection from my computer to the monitor. I travel overseas quite a bit so I have various adapters, but I will probably just buy an ac power cord if required from Frys or something.

Yes, I used a different US style cable like the one pictured. I don't see how that would make any difference but I'll try the original with an adapter now.

Stupider and stranger things have worked. Some users of FG2421 solved their blackout problems by using different cables & power supplies.
