Samsung 4K 1ms monitor $754 it has begun - Page 91

Thanks for the info -- I have a very nice Glossy Qnix running at 110hz right now. Debating on keeping that or trading out for the Samsung 4k and going back to 60hz. If the blacks and colors are decent, it may be worth it. If not, I might just wait..rolleyes.gif

Do it, if you don't like it, send it back...that was my thinking going in. I was going to wait for the Lenovo/Asus models, figured I would buy this one and see if I like it, if not, I would switch for another model, met my expectation, considering TN....$600.00, can't beat that...... one of my main reasons for getting this monitor, that space....

Would this monitor be good for gaming? Say bf4? I really would like more pixels but I don't want to buy another 1080p monitor just for a higher refresh rate.

Got TriSli Titans running on the ASUS PB287Q 4K without issue.

The only problem I have is a popping noise when I first turn the monitor on sadsmiley.gif

Hi,
occasionally when my machine resumes from sleep, the display is stuck at 2560X1440 and Windows doesn't list any higher resolutions until I unplug and re plug in the DisplayPort cord. Is anyone else seeing this?

I had a 24" 1080 panel via DVI on this machine previously that worked fine after resume from sleep...

The monitor runs real nice on bf4. Now only if DICE could make a stabler game, i'd be happy. BF4 @ 4k does look sic though. Your fov is really increased with the increased pixel count. I consistently take out enemies with a kobra site at mid-range...and that site is normally a close range site.

Any motion blur? Have you tried a higher refresh rate monitor before?
