Samsung 4K 1ms monitor $754 it has begun - Page 96

I want to post a slightly off topic comment. This LCD must use a display port from the video card. What I don't understand is, why is today's nvidia video card only comes with 1 display port? what if some1 need to use 2 of these 3840x2160 monitor?

But if you want to use 2 x 2560 x 1600 monitor, any video card will do. My 650 Ti boost c/w 2 x DVI, 1 display port, 1 x HDMI. So shouldn't we expect the higher end video card c/w 1 x DVI, 2 x display port, and 1 HDMI? And yet, even a very high end Nvidia doesn't c/w 2 x display port

So I'm at 4k resolution....but on the desktop it doesn't seem like it even though it says it in NVCP and my monitor settings. It seems more like 2560x1440 or something (for reference I have a Dell U3011 so I can easily tell). One time I checked the monitor resolution and it was indeed set at 2560x1440. I changed it to 4k and could immediately tell the difference...for one the text was noticeably smaller.

Now though...it seems to be be back to what I said in my first sentence. Everything is telling me it's at 4K but it doesn't look like it...

I am getting this exact behavior, but only when I resume the PC from sleep, like once out of three times.

Anyone else still having issues with SLI after the 337.81 beta drivers?

I've tried Batman: Origins, BF4 and Far Cry 3 and despite being able to enable SLI I'm getting horrible micro-stutter with my two 770's.

I already clean-reinstalled the drivers and opened up FRAPS to monitor frame rate, which reported 55-60FPS while the experience felt like 15FPS.

Far Cry 3 Is the worst of the games I have tried I honestly haven't had such blatant micro-stutter since my SLI GTX260's!

Anyway, this monitor is the absolute tits!

I was previously using a Dell U2913WM but it died so I upgraded to this and I have to say; yes, the viewing angles do leave something to be desired but the colour difference between that IPS and this TN is really quite negligible.

I don't notice any micro stutter so far, though bf4 is noticeably harder to play coming from 120 fps to 60. Both crysis 3 and far cry 3 won't even go into 4k res for me, doing so in both results in a crash of my drivers. I'm on the sli drivers that were linked. On a side note sim city will only run at 30 fps while in 4k, can't figure out why, it's at 60hz and frame cap is off??

That was my first experience with 780 ti classified and this monitor, that at 4k in dark souls 2, it would crash the game. No problems at 1440. My thought would be driver related.

Hmm, I'm running Windows 8.1 Spring Update and tried nvidia 337.50/337.81 drivers for the GTX 770. What is your setup?

Check the ingame vid settings. There should be a 60fps option. The default i believe is 30fps.

For the same reason motherboards come with one SATA Express connector at best and 10x regular SATA ports. 4K consumer monitors are only now being introduced...
