I a looking to buy two of these for my EVGA 780 ti cards. What does CSQ mean and what do I need to know about it?

Different style only. Both full cover blocks.

CSQ is a tad older design which basically stands for Circle Square design commonly known as the crop circles biggrin.gif.

CSQ 780TI block:
CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v62), default quality
http://www.ekwb.com/shop/blocks/vga-blocks/fc-geforce/geforce-titan-series/ek-fc780-gtx-ti-nickel-original-csq.html

Need to use the below to connect 2 cards / blocks (FC Bridge CSQ):
CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v62), default quality
http://www.ekwb.com/shop/blocks/vga-blocks/multiple-block-connectivity/fc-connection-parts/ek-fc-bridge-dual-serial-csq.html

Non CSQ design which most people love more:
CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v62), default quality
http://www.ekwb.com/shop/blocks/vga-blocks/fc-geforce/geforce-titan-series/ek-fc780-gtx-ti-nickel.html

Need to use the below to connect 2 cards / blocks (FC Terminal):
CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v62), default quality
http://www.ekwb.com/shop/blocks/vga-blocks/multiple-block-connectivity/fc-terminals/ek-fc-terminal-dual-serial.html

Apart from the design, I'm not sure what is the difference between those 2.

The extra acrylic is just for looks. Some people want to see the whole card covered.
I have the short one shown in Mozz13's third picture and it works extremely well.

I bought the back cover for it, since that is all I will see.

It installed easy, is very shiny and is supposed to offer a small amount of heat dissipation.
