I'm pretty close to taking it apart and looking. I bought it from Best Buy and I'm afraid that's gonna be a dead end.

I know this isn't the exact model, but this might help.

I found that video too.

My model is surprisingly very different in how it comes apart, and I'm having a lot of trouble. They designed this model to be impenetrable.

I remember taking mine apart and half the screws were under the top side or hidden under other objects. Once I found them all and could open it up, it was smooth sailing from there. If you need just your data from the drive, you may want to consider plugging it up to another computer and getting what you need from it for now.

I just bricked it basically.

Took the hard drive out, reformatted it with my desktop.

Now the Laptop wants the password as soon as it starts up. No bios, no cd boot, no hard drive boot. Nothing. Just password.

Why reformat? It's not bricked though. Did you get a restore CD/DVD with it? Did you get the files you needed?

My OS was compromised and I had to reformat. That was my original goal.

Now the laptop won't give me any option at all. It won't boot from a disk. It won't boot the hard drive. As soon as I start it up I get the password prompt. It's bricked unless i get a pass/reset it..

Try that list of passwords I posted earlier. It's not bricked. It's just locked out. The service center can re-image the drive very easily.
