It's very odd. I reseated the HD. Still nothing. It does recognize my CD drive still, but attempting to boot anything from it results in black screen.

HD just showed back up without me doing anything. Crazy.

Trying to boot from either HD or CD drive both result in black screen.

I'll reset the bios for giggles.

Yes it gives options for both. Neither seem to change anything.

Black screens all around.

if you can switch it to csm mode and make sure secure boot and or fast boot are both off.
But i dont get this black screen business something is whacky there.

if this doesnt work the only thing i can figure is call up the morons at samsung and ask them what
to do.

Secure boot is off. I've tried both CSM and UEFI. Black screens or hangs at Samsung logo.

There's isn't an option for fast boot.

ok it looks like there is 3 options csm, uefi, and csm +uefi
try the last one then get into the advanced tab under there and should
be an option for fast boot if so turn it off.

well this is odd makes no sense but all they say to do is set
the bios to defaults let it boot once then shut it down and boot again
with nothing in any of the drives

oh found something interesting here if there is an option somewhere in bios
to change sata from ide to achi it says to do that.

There isn't a fast boot option no matter what combo of csm/uefi/legacy/whatever I try to use.

It will only let me turn ACHI on or off. Does nothing.
