Wouldn't be surprised if that was the cause for 4 RMA's in a row. Killing components because of cheap PSU's.

heh. i did have a 290 in an old rig that had a 380W PSU but that particular card actually never failed. It has been happily sold off to an eBay buyer.

The 4 cards I did RMA were all 290X that at one point I had running on 2x G1200 PSUs in a 6 GPU rig. So no, I didn't kill them. They killed themselves after mining for only a month or two.
